Isle Of Man TT - the most dangerous superbike races in the world.
The full name of this event is International Isle Of Man TT (Tourist Trophy) Race - the most dangerous superbike races which are organised continously since 1907 on British Man Island.
Every year, at spring-summer period of year, a hundreds of thousand fans arrive at Man Isle, where number of habitants reaches 80.000. During the race, speed often crosses 300 km/h ! In every minute of this competition there is huge portion of unbelievable emotions. We can watch and feel this huge speed just by stay behind barriers during the race.
The name of the course is "Mountain Circuit" and it's 60 kilometres long. Around the track we can find trees, lanterns, fences, hedgerows, buildings, and many more typically urban sceneries. When any of drivers hit any of obstacle with high speed, it often means death.
I added a small chart below to show you how many people dies every year.
As you can see there was a number of 9 casualties in the worst season. Death rates are comparable to russian rullette.
For increasing sense of safety, drivers start race separately and only the time of each lap decides about winning or losing the rivalry.
Best drivers reaches AVERAGE top speed during the race equals 200 km/h. In 2016 Michael Dunlop crosses average speed at point of 215 km/h and he finished 6 laps in 01:44:14.259 !! Bruce Anstey crosses the brutal speed of 330 km/h !!
The record- breaker, Joey Dunlop finished Isle Man TT 26 times on 1st position !!
First Polish driver was Piotr Betlej, who finished on 36th position. It was at 2011.
