Injury Update - Max Nagl
Hi Steemers,
It's never good news to deliver when i rider of any of the worlds motocross championships picks up and injury and it's even worse when it's done in the first round. Max Nagl announced that he popped his knee out last weekend at the Grand Prix of Patagonia-Argentina and was uncertain as to the extent of the damage. It seems that estimates on his recovery time is all the doctors are willing to give right now as they want to hold off any assumptions until the get inside and make a proper diagnosis. A very loose translation of his statement can be read below.

"Should not be injured even more: The doctors estimate the downtime at six to eight weeks. Exactly this can only be said after the surgery, when they are in the knee with the camera and the inner band is repaired. I hope that I can at least go to the ADAC Masters for the championship."
The knee injury was picked up in the first moto of the day and we are all wondering why it happend as he landed well and his feet were nicely on the pegs. This would lean towards some previous damage building up over the pre season training but all that matters for now is that he gets healed up as fast as possible. If all goes well i would think he will be back riding again late April and looking at a return to racing in May, fingers crossed for you mate.
