Avoid laziness #motivational story@latifah09.
Hello friends 👋 in steemit, hope you are all doing well. Am also doing great and I thank Allah for that. Today I was the motivational speaker in my rotaract club group of Nakawa MUBS, and I chose a very crucial topic (laziness) which is affecting most of us. I decided to share it with you here hope it changes you somehow.
First of all, I will tell you a simple story,
"In ancient times a king had his men place a boulder on a road way. He then his in the bush and watched to see if anyone would remove the boulder. Some of the wealthiests merchants of the king passed by and simply walked around it.
Many people blamed the king for not keeping the road clear, but none of them thought of removing the stone.
One day the peasant came carrying vegetables, and when he reached to the boulder, the peasant laid down his burden and tried to push the stone out of the way. After much straining he finally managed to get the stone out of the way.
When he went back to pick up his vegetables,he noticed a purse lying in the road where the stone had been placed. It contained many gold coins and the note from the king saying that the gold was for the person who removed the boulder from the road 😊.
This story teaches us not to let things stay as they're, we have to persevere out there and there we will find the place we want to be, the things we love but after stood up and make ourselves busy.
You can avoid this laziness disease by telling yourself you will work on the dreaded task because nothing changes until you do.
Be consistency and check your progress.
Find a dream to work upon and always look into the mirror and say to yourself that you are the best 💪💪
Remember, laziness is not a natural state. Start this with developing your personal mission statement. Ask yourself what you want to be written about you in your arbituary when you die.
Thank you friends hope this help you 🙏🙏🙏🙏
