To be happy in life depends on your perspective of happiness.
What brings joy and happiness to many vary from loved ones, to friends, money, position, power, connection, education, community, charity and many more.

You can be happy when your dreams come alive and you are making impact in the world and the people around you.
What is that thing that gives you joy, that puts a smilemon your face and gladdens your heart?
I know there are those who derive joy in seeing other people suffer and make mistakes in life. Such paople are advocates of the devil if you ask me. They never want to see good happen to others around them. They think they derive joy in being wicked, no they are wrong. Such will never give joy but more sadness because they cannot experience real joy and happiness that comes from within.
True joy and happiness is from God. You want to experience it? Study the Bible for yourself and practice what you have read and the Holy spirit will bless your heart with such great joy. There are those who will not agree with me on this. It does not change them truth. The word of God is the truth.
I have ceased to derive joy from material things. It is a blessing to be rich and wealthy, to, have the best cars and live in exotic houses. Whether it is there or not should not determine your joy or happiness.

Let your happiness be from the lives you have affected, touched in diverse ways. It starts with one person at a time. This should not be at your detriment anyway. It would be foolishness. But if it turns out your good intentions becomes bad for you, never mind let that one go. It shows you are better off and your happiness can't be quantified by material things.

I have heard of wealthy men and women with properties all over the place, industries scattered abroad but they lack a successor and has made their joy incomplete. Knowing their life's work will be mal handled or reduced to dust when they are no more. The best investments are in the lives you have touched. It has a ripple effect. It n transforms and multiplies geometrically.
It is up to you what gives you joy.
I choose to be happy nonetheless.

WOW!! Thank you for the reminder of what is really important. So often we tend to let the stresses of life get in the way of our happiness. We take our loved ones for granted, when we should cherish every second we share with them.
Happiness is never too far away, we just have to be willing to see what is in front of us!!
