The importance of thoughts!
In this seasons of my life, God often reminds me to be careful of what thoughts I accept. The more I study His Word, the more I realize the importance of thoughts and words.
"As he ( a man) thinks in his heart, so is he..." (Proverbs 23:7). Another translation says:
"As a man thinks in his heart, so does become".
No matter how much we study in this areas, there will be always new things to learn, and things we already know but we need to be refreshed in.
The mind is the leader of all our actions. Romans 8:5 makes it clear : " Those who live according to the flesh have their minds set on what the flesh desires; but those who live in accordance with the Spirit have their minds set on what the Spirit desires." Our actions are a direct result of our thoughts.
All we have to do is renew our mind by reading His daily Word!
