The Mountain Man (Until I break it, I will not leave it - Dashrath Manjhi) There is a very old saying that A single gram can never break the hell but Dashrath Manjhi of Bihar has completely denied this saying. With his will power, determination and courage, he single-handedly did the impossible, which no one could even think of.

Yes, he single-handedly made a 360 feet long and 30 feet wide path by ripping the chest of a 25 feet high mountain with only chisel and hammer and proved that if a man wants, with courage, will and determination Force can move mountains and make the impossible possible. For this great work of his, he is called "Mountain Man

Dashrath Manjhi was born in 1934 in a very poor laborer family in Gehlaur village of Gaya district of Bihar. He belonged to the Musahar tribe, the lowest level of the tribal tribe of Bihar. Dashrath Manjhi, who lived in a small hut, spent his childhood in extreme poverty and misery. Due to which he had to work as a laborer instead of going to school at a young age. He was married to Falguni Devi in ​​his childhood itself. He loved his wife very much.

Once while carrying drinking water for Dasharatha Manjhi, his wife slipped and fell down from the mountain and was badly injured. He could not get immediate medical help. Because the hospital is 80 km from his village. Was away in the city. While being taken to the hospital, his wife died on the way due to lack of medical treatment. He was deeply shocked by the death of his wife. So that such an accident should not happen to anyone else, Dashrath Manjhi decided to break the mountain and make a way from there.

They sold their goats and bought chisel and hammer. And in 1960 started breaking the mountain. For 22 years continuously, without stopping, without getting tired, he kept breaking mountains day and night. He had also built his hut near the mountain. Sometimes they used to break mountains only when they were hungry and thirsty. During this, his family members opposed him a lot. People started calling him crazy. He was made fun of a lot. But Dashrath Manjhi, who was firm in his tune, did not listen to anyone and kept tearing the mountain by defying all the troubles and difficult situations. In the end, the mountain had to give up and after 22 years of hard work, in 1982, he single-handedly made a 360 feet long and 30 feet wide road out of the mountain.

After his amazing feat, the distance from his village to Wazirganj city was 80 km. reduced to only 3 kms. After this he was respected a lot and people started calling him "Dasaratha Baba".

After accomplishing this seemingly impossible feat, his only regret was that the wife who inspired him to accomplish this feat did not live to see it.
