MOTIVATIONAL GIFTS IN LIFE

I Peter 4:10 “ As every man hath received the gift, even so minister the same one another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God.” NAS says “As each one has received a special gift.”

Each one of us has a special gift that God has given us. A gift that is one of our assets to help each other for a better and harmonious relationship towards success.

HERE ARE THE 7 MOTIVATIONAL GIFTS WE CAN BE:
Along with these seven motivational gifts are the examples on what each one might say and why they would say it. One example is a situation were represented by a family and someone dropped the dessert on the floor .

• Prophet/Perceiver - A prophet sees life as good or bad, right or wrong, in God’s will or out of God’s will. He or she declares the will of God and keeps us centered on spiritual principles.

” That’s what happens when your not careful!”

(Motivates to correct the problem.)

• Server - A server approaches life thinking, “What can I do to help you in this situation?” He/she renders practical services and keeps the work of ministry moving.

”Oh, let me help you clean it up.”

(Motivates to fulfill a need.)

• Administrator/Organization - grasps the overall perspective of a situation and naturally wants to organize or lead. Administrator gives leadership and direction and keeps us organized and increases our vision.

Anna, would you get the mop.
Ryan, please help pick it up;
and Joseph, help me get another dessert.”

(Motivates to achieve the immediate goal of the group.)

• Person of Compassion - Teach to balance emotions and reality, as well as recognizes hurts and wounds needing healing and sees endless opportunities to express love. Person of compassion keeps us in right attitudes and relationships.

”Don’t feel badly. It could have happened to anyone.”

(It motivates to relieve embarrassment.)

• Teacher - A teacher searches for truth in everything he/she encounters. And persistently seeks, investigates, analyzes, and researches. They also keep us studying and learning.

”The reason that it fell is that it was too heavy on one side.”

(Motivates to discover why it happened.)

• Giver - looks for ways to invest his time, talent, energy, money, and resources to provide for the needs of others. A giver shares material assistance and keeps specific needs provided for.

”I’ll be happy to buy a new dessert.”

(Motivates to give to a tangible need.)

• Exhorter - sees opportunities to encourage people, to build them up. And always approaches life positively. It also encourages personal progress and keeps us applying spiritual truths.

”Next time, let’s serve the dessert with the meal.”

(Motivates to correct the future.)
