Opportunity

A white space- which I can fill with words that might have a meaning for one or the other.

Every day is like that. A new canvas which we can colour in any way we like.

A new opportunity to rise from the couch- running on the foot path.

A new opportunity to show somebody kindness, even when our own heart is full of sorrow.

A new opportunity to be compassionate rather than judgemental.

A new opportunity to smile into an angry face.

A new opportunity to see a rainbow behind the dark clouds.

We may not have control of our circumstances but we are always in control of our choices. And sometimes it’s ok to pig out, to drink too much or to just fuck up in general.

But at least the space didn’t stay white- and was filled with a colourful spectrum which give way to fulfilled experiences.
