What to do when someone keeps hurting you over and over again
Have you ever been in a situation when someone does something wrong and you know you are supposed to forgive, but you're pretty sure they will do it again? You don't have to give a second chance to people who don't deserve it. You deserve to be free from that.
But read this to know what you should do.
I believe in forgiveing people. But that doesn't always mean you have to let them back into your life. Some people will never change because they don't want to change and you're under no obligation to let them hurt you again. Forgive them and forget them. Forgiveness doesn't always lead to a healed relationship. Some people just aren't not capable of love, or at least loving you and it might be wise to let them go along with your anger. The unfortunate truth is that some things cannot be fixed and sometimes relationships just aren't not meant to be and the best you can do is forgive and move forward. Not forgive and pretend like nothing happened. Sometimes you just have to let go. But when you do, don't keep the bitterness, the hurt, the resentment. Let go of that's as well if the relationship can't be healed, you need to heal and you can only do that when you forgive.
