Mastering Fear - What You Need To Take Control Of Your Life

Can you be a master of your fears? I think you can and here's how. You see there is an old saying that goes like this "If you do it once, you'll never have to try again." I believe that is so because by mastering your fears and applying them on a daily basis, you can take any situation and make it work for you. Let me explain how this is done.

The first step in mastering your fears and applying them is to realize that you have them. You may not realize that you have them because when something bad happens, you blame it on the people who caused the problem. If you are able to admit that you have fears and you have applied them, you are half way there. Next, come up with a game plan to conquer those fears. Here is where I get a little controversial.

You should always begin by coming up with a list of fears or things that you are afraid of doing. I know this sounds silly and even a little foolish at first. But, the more you tell yourself what the worst thing that could happen, the more it will become part of your reality. In other words, you create an agenda to conquering your fears. If you don't tell yourself that you are afraid of flying, then you cannot overcome that fear.

Once you have created an agenda to conquering your fear, it is time to turn it into a reality by making it a reality. That means you have to take action towards that fear. This does not mean that you will come across as being pushy. Just bear in mind that the more you tell yourself what it is you are afraid of, the more it will become a part of your reality!

Now, once you have made it into a reality, it is time to apply the knowledge. The most important thing is to ignore your fears, when they come to pass. When you are told by people that you have no courage, it is far better to ignore their advice than listen to it. Once you have ignored their advice, all you have to do is take action anyway, because you have already learnt that it is foolish to fear what you don't know about.

You are going to encounter many people who will tell you that you are not strong enough or brave enough to tackle fear! Well, you know what? If you believe them, you are wrong! You are strong and brave enough to overcome anything!

So, what is the number one thing that you must do for overcoming your fears? The number one thing is to find out all you can about your fears. In other words, start researching. Learn everything you can about mastering fear. The more you know about it, the more chance you have of overcoming it.

One thing I have found is that there are three types of fear: physical, mental and spiritual. By mastering each of these, you will be well on your way to mastering fear. In fact, once you have conquered each of these three, you will have no more problems that fear. So, keep these things in mind as you go on your way to mastering fear.

Physical fear comes from being too strong. If you are constantly worried about a bruise on your neck or back, and you have never experienced a bruise, you are living in the physical world. Fear is a result of living in the physical world! In other words, if you want to change something about yourself, you will have to push yourself outside of your comfort zone!

Mental fear is also a result of living in the physical world. People with this fear tend to be always worrying about something. They may be concerned about whether they will land a job or whether they will see their potential boss. They may even be afraid that they will fail at a task. When they have these thoughts, they will always be thinking about it, and they will not take any chances.

Spiritual fear is the last type of fear. People with spiritual fear have a hard time letting go of negative thoughts. Because these thoughts are so pervasive, they will take any excuse to stay inside their comfort zone. This can lead to depression and other mental problems. Once you know about each type of fear, then you will know how to conquer it!
