Life is a blank canvass

You know as kids, we must have had this stereotype life we thought was waiting for us to be grabbed. The life where we graduate from college, get a good paying job, get married, buy a house and then have children. Then our children grow as we grow and we become a large family, having it all sweet and merry.

So cliché.

What we fail to understand as kids is that life doesn't give us what we feel we deserve, it gives us what we bargain for. In other words, let us not sit and wait expecting our life to go the stereotype way because it won't happen. A lot of things have changed. A lot of water has passed under the bridge.

Right now, we are in that phase of our lives that we have to realise that life is a blank canvass and all we have to do is throw on it as much paint as we can. This is era where we create our own future with our own strong hands and brilliant minds. Who says we can't have more than just graduating college and getting married.

I strongly believe I can achieve whatever it is I set out to achieve. I believe I can rise above my peers and be better because I have come to realise that I can make out of life anything I want.

Why?

It is a blank canvass and I can splatter as much paint as I want on it.
