RE: How to succesfully survive interview for job - 10 steps

in #motivation7 years ago (edited)

I saw your article in the minnow support project room. . seemed interesting. Great job! Some key points I took away from your post:

"Never say "I don't know", . . so true. Preparing for the questions is really important. And I agree, saying something like, "I need to verify" or something similar is much better.

Get answer for "weak and strong sides" question: . . this is great to be prepare for too. The first time it happened, I was surprised. I don't even remember what I said, honestly haha, and I didn't end up getting the job.

"Don't come in pajamas, but don't be overdressed" . . nice lol . . but valid. If it's a factory job, don't come dressed in a suit. Looking up the company, like you suggested, is a smart idea.

Thanks for sharing @snowwhite

Thank you! Nice to know that someone is actually reading it! :)
And 'never say I dont know' can be used our whole lifes, not only during the interview. I forgot about one: replace word "problem" with "challenge" :)

haha, yea "problem" does sound so much worse. You're welcome. Saying, "I don't know" isn't typically in my vocabulary, especially when I'm dealing with a client or a person of authority . .

well, if it ever happens to you that you don't know something, it's only because you don't know it YET!
