An inferiority complex is the lack of self-worth, a doubt and uncertainty about oneself and feelings of not measuring up to standards.

Now there is nothing unhealthy about an inferiority feeling, in fact it can be useful to us in the sense that it urges us to acquire greater ability.

For example

A doctor is superior to a lawyer in a medical knowledge, they are perhaps equal in politics but in law he is the lawyer's inferior.

WHAT YOU CAN DO?

  1. If you as a person feels inferior to another person, and if you really want to be better, what you have to do is to acquire a greater knowledge or skill, in other words, improve yourself.

  2. You can adopt a correct attitude by recognising your inferiority and be content with it.
