Thoughts on a Beautiful Spring Day in the US NW
How long has your winter been? You know I'm not just talking about the weather!
We all have those periods; those grey, dreary days that keep us in a gloom. Those days when we just don't feel like we can do anything productive. We know what we should/could be doing to move us toward our goals, but we just can't get beyond that hibernation/nesting feeling.
Take heart! Spring is upon us; the sunshine is coming! Its time to strip off those heavy coats and galoshes!
Shake off that gloom, slip on the flip-flops and get busy!
Hi @michaelglass, it must be a wonderful feeling to see new plant growth after a very cold winter. I miss it entirely where I live in the sub tropics.
Yeah, @angiemitchell , that reawakening is cool, but we've had enough of the cold! We'll be heading (Sailing) your way in about a year! I'm looking forward to spending the rest of my days in single digit latitudes!
Your post resonates with me. My winter has been way too long. I had moments of bliss, not having to do anything. But oftentimes, I feel I should be more productive instead of wasting my time/life away. But then I haven't the slightest clue what I want to do, or what I would enjoy doing. And so I wait for that spark to ignite the fire that will get me going - while life pass me by.

Oh yes! We're all ready for spring! I'm in the Pacific NW too, and it has been particularly difficult this winter. Not quite ready for flip flops here in mudville, but shedding some layers sure feels good!
