How to Learn Swimming

Hi folks, this is my 50th day on the Steem platform. So i think it's time for a little review about the past days and what i have learned so far. When i had read about the concepts of Steem in January, immediately i felt excited about it. The signup process which took a couple of days to get my Steemit account login informations, just felt like a endless waiting for spring in a cold winter. So when i received my account i just started and shortcut the welcome, FAQ and general readme-first informations... just like i mostly skip those guides, simply because i just feel like this:

Overcome Self-Doubts

I quickly started to realize, that success on Steem really depends on talent, hard work or good knowledge about blogging and social media. I don't know if i only meet the requirements in one of those fields but the more important i think is, that you clearly define your personal expectations and a make your self a plan how to reach them.

Realignment of Personal Goals

My personal goal is to gain knowledge and insight in the behavior and usage of Steem users by using the APIs for this platform and to put ideas into code. So after fifty days on the Steem platform i already written 2000 lines of python code for several analytics on behavior and automation of tasks to reach my personal goals here. That wasn't the initial idea when i joined Steem, but for now it turns into a completely new hobby and motivates me to further improve my knowledge in python scripting.

A Personal Advice

If you aren't a coder but although didn't skipped reading till yet, i would like to give you the following advice:

Whatever you are doing here on Steem that provides you fun (and it doesn't harm or offense people), the capabilities of learning something new or helps you to improve in one or more fields of your interesest - keep on doing what you are doing to get better and simply enjoy it. I believe Steem will start to grow faster and faster beyond our average expectations.

Best wishes and greetings to all other steemians 🙏. I would like to know about your personal goals on Steem and what you have learned so far here, so please drop a comment below.

@phreq thanks for the well-timed article. I'm in the midst of coding for my trading strategies and this is a great reminder of focusing on the end goals and following through on the process.

really you are a great enginer

right sister writing is very good

HELLO, I also like to program, I'm almost an engineer, I like literature, art in general and also earn some coins,

Thank you for your interesting post. No matter what we do, I think we should enjoy it and we should do it from the heart. I am convinced that this is the key to personal success. So keep doing..it's great what you write.

Congrats! Onwards and upwards!

I'm on a little break from posting anything substantial to steemit for the moment as I'm moving but as soon as I settle I'll be producing a lot more. Mostly music and music related stuff but who knows!

What I'm mostly focused on at the moment is to get my irl friends on to steemit and eventually I'd love to introduce the platform to the Perth (Australia) local music scene.

Keep up the good stuff and good luck!

THAT WELL, I HOPE TO ALSO SURPASS THOSE MOMENTS I ALSO

I am learning here everyday....I did not know that API existed on steemit but now I will have to learn about this as well. My goals are to begin chronicling my life's journey and connecting with others, I feel steemit is a great place to do this and i also like the idea that all of our posts will exist on the blockchain for potentially a very long time ... perhaps our posts will be studied like ancient texts of long ago ... Thanks again great post!
