Talking about sadness all the time I creates a negative impact.
I had a roommate who used to do this. It took me a while to understand why I always feel sad when I get back home or be with that person.
Then I opened up about this with my roommate and tried to make her understand, it's not a good approach for mental health.
Yes, you can talk about if you are feeling sad. But not all the time. Especially when you let others down by your sad feeling.
It's creates a sad and negative environment.
