Definitely! It's something myself and others in my community have been talking about for a few weeks now. I plan to start a big movement for this to empower people to talk about their feelings and open that door to their darkness, so their inner light can shine upon the earth. It's something that I feel has been needed for a long time. If we learn to be more accepting of each other and each others feelings and emotions, the darkness that is surrounding this planet will begin to lift :D
How do I go to the Newbie chat room? Is discord a different platform? Lol sorry this is all so new to me. I am used to Facebook, but I never used Reddit (I have heard they function in a similar way).

oh no worries it took me almost a year to find out what discord was LOL it's an off-site chat / messaging app - lots of the communities on here utilize it and there is @GInaBot who uses a direct msg service to tell you all your updates, tags, mentions of your name and such

I created an account but wasn't sure how to find anyone. I will check it out more. Is it linked to the STEEM blockchain or is it a separate thing on it's own?
It is separate - you can search for members if you know their discord name like I'm amariespeaks#9425 on there but the newbie resteem day has their own channel on there.. this is the invite, I think? https://discord.gg/DV4qsH

BTW i don't know if you are familiar with @aggroed but I think his blog and is PALnet (peace, abundance,love network) would be right up your alley :) he's a great person, super helpful and writes great posts plus hosts these radio shows on the minnow support project channel on discord they are really cool and enlightening - full of great people
