What do you do when you are late for an important meeting and you look everywhere but you just can’t find your other pair of socks. I know many of us have faced this dilemma at least once if our lives. What do you do then? Especially in a case where that is the only type that goes with your outfit. Do you give up on the meeting entirely or you put all your energy into turning things around in the room until you find it? I know most of us go in for the latter because we know something amazing is waiting for us at the end of the meeting but if we were to let the one missing pair of sock stand in our way, it wouldn’t be the best. We therefore call in our spouse or children to help us find it as fast as possible.
The same way, we go up and down looking for that sock, if we were to apply that positive mindset and enthusiasm to building something generations to come will be proud of, we will get far in life. There is no shame in working for someone in case someone is misinterpreting what this message is truly about. There is however everything wrong if you live in this generation and think one source of income is enough to take care of your needs. Start something today and you will be proud you did. Life is not a race but if you keep on using this as an excuse, you will forever wait for something only you can give you.
