How to Decide Your Reaction to Known Problems
A common challenge for many people is deciding their reaction to known problems. We have all heard about the snake in the grass and the centipede that bite you on the leg. We have also all read about or are familiar with people who have rashes from contact with chemicals. And, we have all heard about people who cannot get rid of itching and redness from insect bites.
All these things make it difficult to decide what reaction you will have when confronted with a specific problem. For instance, if you had a serious reaction to lead acid in drinking water, would you know what kind of substance it was? Or would you know it was baking soda? Chances are good that you would not. However, by understanding the basic chemistry of our bodies, we can better understand how to react to known problems.
For example, most of us understand how deciders affect the skin. When a substance has a strong odor, like chlorine or rotten eggs, we may decide to avoid the substance. A similar reaction is to wear clothing that prevents contact with the chemical. Certain perfumes, such as a perfume that contains a toxic amount of benzene peroxide, can also be a problem. In the end, it is the concentration of the chemical in the material that decides how we react to a given situation.
Another common example of a decider is the medication you may take for an ailment. Many times, the dosage will be determined by the type of illness, such as aspirin for a headache. Your physician will recommend a certain concentration of the drug based on the strength of your symptoms. In the same way, the concentration and weight of the decider will be related to the problem you are trying to solve.
The same is true when choosing a decider for a skin problem. If your problem is one of constant itching, for example, the concentration of the ingredient in the solution may be different from that recommended for a pimple. You will need to find the correct balance between comfort and effectiveness. Using a decider that makes the problem worse, will not help you solve it.
How do you know when you have found a skin care decider? The answer is, only if you know how to read the labels of ingredients. There are some formulas on the market that do not contain anything except for hypoallergenic substances and other artificial preservatives. If there are any known problems with a product, they will be listed there, along with the concentration of the ingredient.
Does this mean you should avoid all products with known reactions? Of course not. But, caution is a better approach than no reaction at all. You may not know exactly what is causing your problem, but you do have control over the chemical reaction it is causing. So, be careful about the chemicals you use. If a reaction is really serious, you will have to consult a dermatologist or a skin care expert.
The most common chemical reaction causes redness, itching, burning, peeling, dryness and wrinkles. Your skin needs to stay nourished, hydrated and youthful looking. Choose a formula carefully that provides healthy nutrients, antioxidants, natural extracts and active protein for younger looking, healthy skin.
One more ingredient to look for is Kaolin. It has unique properties. It can be used as a sloughing off agent. It is gentle and leaves your skin softer and smoother. When applied to skin, Kaolin absorbs quickly and thoroughly, leaving no trace of oil.
If you are a man with unmanageable oily skin, you need to know that DMDM Hydantoin will help you. In fact, DMDM Hydantoin is the only ingredient approved by the US FDA for treating male skin care problems. This ingredient is very similar to the sebum of the sebaceous glands found in the skin. It works by penetrating deeply to the deepest layers to nourish and hydrate the skin.
There are some good companies that offer skin care products containing all natural ingredients. For a better effect, you may want to try a formula that combines ingredients that are designed to work together for better results. This is what makes a formula worth trying. You just might find the answer to your skin care problems!
