THE POWER OF PERSPECTIVE. JUST BECAUSE YOU RIGHT DOESN'T MAKE OTHERS WRONG.

The first time I came across this concept was in the book Rich dad poor dad. Robert talked about opening the window of his mind to another professional investor's point of view. This investor was more successful than him when eventually he understood, he now had two perspective his own, and the investors own which enabled him to make better investment.

Yes, Just because we are right doesn't necessarily mean the other party is wrong. They may just be coming from a different school of thought. We think the way we do due to different factors such as but not limited to family values, religious affiliations, culture, education, books we read, media exposure etc.
So the next time you hear a different perspective than yours don't rush (even in your mind) to conclude that the point of view is wrong. The person may just be coming from a different angle. Especially if the point of view is coming from someone that is successful. It took a concept I tot was wrong for years to be corrected by one of @grantcardone point of view in one of his books.
One of my Nigerian mentors will say, question everything and anything . Something is accepted doesn't mean it is right and something is not popular doesn't mean is wrong.
THE ROAD TO WISDOM IS TO VIEW OTHERS PERSPECTIVE WITH RESPECT.
