Make Impact!

Hello everyone,

I hope you are all doing great. I have recently been reflecting on a matter i consider very important and i have decided to share it with you all.

Have you ever looked back and wondered, where have all the time gone?

Do you often ask yourself, am i living in vain?

Am i impacting on people and on my surroundings?

It seems just like yesterday, you were a teenager, and today you hair greying all up on you.

I personally, i really want to be someone who is very functional in anywhere i find myself.
In order to do this,we have to learn to prioritize our purpose correctly. Because at the end of the day, if you don't sieze an opportunity, it'll surely pass you by and the past minute can never return to you.

Are you making impact?

A lot of people feel tired when they do so much, well! who wouldn't, we are not machines after all.
But, have you asked yourself if you really need to be doing all what you do? Are you actually making impact or do you end up doing junk daily?

Leave all the rubbish alone!

It all boils down to organisation.

Everyone has a great ability to make impact, and when you don't do that, you become supressed.
I have come to realize that the most powerful people always know how and when to say NO

You have to strive to do excellently well in anything you decide to specialize on. You have to know your purpose. Learn to invest energy on areas you know your most impactful.

It's great to be a spectator where your not a specialist

At the end of the day, each time you invest your energy in areas where your not really good at, you do that at the detriment of your area of specialization.

There has to be some growth. If it aint working, then stop working it!

There are 4 keys to making Impact:

• Estimating Impact
• Planning Impact
• Monitoring Impact
• Evaluating Impact

I don't want this post to be too long, i'll be doing a follow up post where i'll be explaining all impact making keys.

In Conclusion,

Making Impact is being great at what you do. To have impact, you need to understand how things work. We need to always upgrade and choose wisely, where we want to have impact.

Don't be a jack of all trades and a master of none.

At the end of every day, try and measure the level of impact you have made, and make sure the day wasn't wasted.
You have to be content with the available resources, while you work on acquiring more. If you are not content, you end up being frustrated.

Marketing and branding are very important parts of your area of specialization, so utilize it well.
Always try to get feed back from the right sources, as it is a very important aspect of measuring impact.
