BRIDGING THE GAP
I won't want theses generalization, based on my limited experience, to be applied too strictly to any particular particular individual or situation. But these observations can help us identify gender-linked tendencies in our work with men and women. Here are three important reminders.
Our way isn't necessarily wrong. Then again, we can't assume our way is right. It's just different. Men and women have much to learn from each other if we first accept each other.
Keep a sense of humor. Don't take difficulties and confusion too seriously. Treating the gender difficulties with humor can help us recognize and bridge the gaps
Be real. We called to serve in one way or the other with our unique personality and gifts. Women don't need to be like men and vice versa. Men and women can work together, though in different ways, to achieve even greater things.
