It took me almost 20 years to build the courage to come out of my self-imposed closet and called myself an artist. Being self-taught I am my worst critic and often feel I am not good enough, not qualified enough, not young enough etc etc etc. I agree with NIKE - Just Do It. There is no suitable time. The time is NOW. Upvoted!
