Significantly, Tiger Woods was born and raised in Cypress, California. He was born in the year of 1975 on December 30th. In fact, Tiger was named after a soldier, who served in the army alongside his father.
Furthermore, his father taught him how to golf at the age of eight. In addition, he didn't enter pro golf until 1996. Not to mention, he had won many amateur U.S golf titles before going pro. At the age of 21 he won a gulf competition called the U.S. Masters at Augusta, Georgia. Tiger finished the competition with a score of 270.
