Never give up !!!

Winston Churchill struggled three years to finish the eighth grade of elementary school. Learning his mother tongue was very difficult task for him.
The whole life of this great and above all unusual man was marked by struggle, courage, and perseverance.
When all the politicians vanished in front of supreme German army he took the power in England.

In war he had series of victories and in peace he remained one of the most charismatic personalities in the world. His sayings and quotes even today are among the most famous and most commonly used. Unpredictability was one of his most important features, just like his speech skills.
After the retirement, he literally did not appear in public.

It sounds ironic that famous Oxford University has been calling him unsuccesfully over 100 times. Getting him as a lecturer was a mission impossible.
Several decades later he finally accepted to hold a speech on the award of diplomas to future graduates.

On this occasion Churchill came with his usual props: a cigar, a stick and a cylinder with a hat. As Churchill approached the podium, the overflowing hall stood and blinked him gloomily. With his recognizable body language he calmed down present crowd and stood alone in front of them. While taking the cigar out of his mouth and putting his hat on the pulpit Churchill stared at the audience.
They had a full expectation of another big and long speech of Churchill.
But suddenly his authoritative voice echoed: "Never give up!"

It took a few seconds before he tiptoed and repeated,
"Never give up!" His words were ringing in ears of those who were expecting him to continue his speech.
'' Never, never and never give up! "
There was a grave silence in the hall.
He just took his hat and the cigar and he left the podium.
His speech was over.
