Stay Focused!!!!

Always believe in yourself and all that you are made of. Know that there is something inside you that is greater than an obstacle. Successful people usually maintain a positive focus in life no matter what is going around them. They always stay focused on their past successes rather than their past failures, and on their next action step, they will need to take them closer to the fulfilment of their dreams or goals rather than all the other distractions life presents them.

“And Elijah said unto Tarry, I pray thee, here, for the LORD hath sent me to Jordan. And he said, as the LORD liveth, and as thy soul liveth, I will not leave thee. And the two went on” –2 Kings 2:6.

Al Ries opines that, “Great leaders, in spite of a multitude of distraction, usually know how to really keep things focused. They always know how to motivate and inspire their followers to keep pushing to the very last end. They don’t allow side-issues to overwhelm them.” This is very instructive for youths who desire to fulfill their God-ordained destinies.

In the text, Elisha refused to be dissuaded or discouraged from following Prophet Elijah to Jordan simply because he remained focused while going with his master and in return, he received a double of Elijah’s spirit when God took him to Heaven. My Beloved ones, you must remain focused if only you desire God’s unlimited blessings for your life. Always live your Christian life with enthusiasm and zeal. And also walk diligently with the Lord Almighty. Be focused and also disciplined in your academics or career and God will help you to excel above normal level.
