Lately it seems people resent being questioned. The ones I encounter are so fervent and convinced of their beliefs they will not tolerate a question even in the most benign way asked. I wonder why that is. It's contrary to the inquisitive and curious mind and seems a dangerous way of being.

    Thanks for the reply @antimetica. The teachings of Mahatma Gandhi are not easy to follow.
