NEVER NEVER QUIT!
There is this popular saying that is in everybody's lips, or at least almost everybody's lips
The saying has become so popular that people say sometimes without deep thinking of its sincere meaning.
What is the popular saying?
The popular saying is this:
Quitters never win and winners never quit.
Very little is yet to be understood by what that saying really means: but, you and I need to understand, first, who a quitter is. And afterwards, who a winner is.
Who is a quitter?
A quitter is someone who gives up. He is someone who sometimes, never tries before he gives up his dreams and aspirations.
I think it would help as a bit in this post if we could consider some features of a quitter here.
Characteristics or features of a quitter
Here are some notable characteristics of a quitter:
#1. You are a quitter if you fail and then stops trying to succeed: those who stop trying to succeed are the real quitters, in fact they should be tagged quitter. Why? Because stopping to try will hinder every form of success that could come to you. Because they have put a stop to their efforts to make a better future.
#2. You are a quitter if you never try for too long before you throw in the tower: some quitters who argue that things are too difficult never even tries for long. How can one stop trying to succeed after about few weeks on steemit, saying "Steemit is only profitable for some". That's is a fat lie, but even if it were true, why not be among the few. Why join the many? Think about that for a while.
#3. You are a quitter if you believe success is a mirage: Some people believe that success is a mirage. A mirage is something people believe to be true but not true. It's sickening today how people tends to see success as an impossible venture.
#4. You are a quitter if you feel you are not fit for success: There are some people who believe in success for others but not for themselves. They say, "That guy is very good at that, but am no good....". Did you perceive the disbelieve in himself in that statement? How sad!
Success is for believers in success, unbelievers don't stand a chance.
#5. You are a quitter if you have no hope for tomorrow: if nothing propels you to wake up every morning, then you have no dreams to be achieved which is just a step before quitting in any venture. Real successes never really quit. They continue to go on... They never stop trying even when trying isn't giving much results.
DISADVANTAGES OF BEING A QUITTER
There are many disadvantages of being a quitter in life. And, here are some of them:
#1. Your dreams will not be achieved.
#2. Regrets and sorrows over missed opportunities.
#3. Quitters never win.
#4. Quitting is a sign of low self-esteem.
#5. Quitting shows others who uncommitted you are to your dreams.
