"Protect yourself at all times," I am always fascinated by this quote from boxing referees, I mean, It is a fight after all, but they make sure to repeat the same quote before every match. such philosophy is also applicable to our real-life goals, since our ultimate end is to achieve or become victorious in our endeavors, it only makes sense to protect our goals and dreams.
Keep your guards up
Our dreams can become fragile in the beginning stage, It is very important to be on the lookout for factors that can discourage our drive and ambitions. It's fine to be optimistic but we also have to be on the lookout for bumps along the road to our destination.Get yourself a mentor
It can be exciting to want to tell everyone about our dreams but not everybody deserves or wants to listen to your dreams and goals. One of the most important people you will need in your corner is a mentor that will listen and guide you on your goals and dreams.Keep Training
It is also important to keep self-improving, you can never stop learning and acquiring skills that are relevant to your dreams, it is good to have talent but talent can only take you so far. you'll also need to keep advancing. one step at a time.You don't need a lucky break
What we call "luck" is just when preparation meets opportunity, of course, it pays to have circumstances in our favor but overall it ultimately depends on you, depending too much on the idea of "luck" can hinder the role of responsibility on our part.
Circumstances might arise that drives us to our knees, in such scenarios, you are not "unlucky", life just threw you a jab, keep your guard up, toughen up your chin, protect your dream.

Hey @abmakko thanks for sharing this. I totally agree with you on getting a mentor! I have been doing all the others but not this one. I believe that my growth and dreams would have come a lot sooner! Mentors are super important!
