History of World Mother's Day

According to a group, the origin of this day is from the custom of the worship of Mother of ancient Greece, where a god of the Greek gods was celebrated for Sebele, a festival. In 1870, social worker Julia Ward called for American women to fight against the war, with much writing to the state to recognize this day. Ann Jarvis started campaigning and campaigning with the war-torn American women about the need and benefits of cleanliness and healthcare. In 1912, Anna Jarvis formed 'Mothers Day International Association' (International Mother's Day Association). He even managed to run a wide variety of these two words on 'Second Sunday of May' and 'Mother's Day'. That did not fail him. He tried to celebrate a special day to celebrate Mother's Day. To that end, on May 10, 1908, he celebrated the day for the first time in the church of Grupitan, West Virginia, where his mother Ann Jarvis taught on Sunday. Since then, it gradually expanded over time, and this time it was observed in 45 states of America. In 1912, the official holiday was announced for the first time in some of the states of America. On May 8, 1914, the US Congress announced the second Sunday of May as 'Mother's Day'. This is the beginning of the journey of Mother's Day officially. In 1962, this day was recognized international day. Many countries of the world then observe the day from different perspectives. In addition to this, Mother's Day is celebrated with dignity in more than one hundred countries including India, Pakistan, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Myanmar, Australia, Brazil, Canada, China, Russia and Germany. At one stage, the United States Congress approved the day as a public holiday. Currently Mother's Day is a recent custom in most countries.
