They cannot resist it. It’s just incredible how much they can not resist it.

So light gains the role of attraction, and they attributed themselves the madness ...

They cannot resist it, and, as Marlene would sang:
'' ... Und wenn sie verbrennen
Ja dafür kann ich nicht ",
when they get burned, what can I do? 😉

Every evening they are there, fluttering, dancing all night around it.

Sometimes they're a in a company of an infatuated hornet or a romantic dragonfly, while the crickets are heard under the eternal glow of all those stars.…

...
And then in the morning they are just laying down motionless on the floor.
Dangerous hornet and gentle butterfly.
So short-lived creatures of warm summer nights.

Some still manage to welcome the morning, so with the first sun they will hide among the nearby pots of succulent plants, and then will be quiet, peacefully waiting the next night to give another dance to the irresistible light.

Full moon with astronauts! :)

That would be great title :)

Hahah 😄😄 yes, could be

At my place, the light also brings out scorpions, fat-tailed geckos and other hunters

It sounds more dangerous. Are scorpions poisonous?

Most are not dangerous, they have a painful sting like that of a bee but in the desert areas to the west, there are scorpions that can kill. None of those where I live, thankfully
