Dream of the American car/حلمي بالسيارة الأمريكية

I had many dreams in my childhood, but I did not care about them
There was one dream that always occupied me; He owns a car
I closed my eyes every time, imagining myself on a long dirt road driving a black American-made car. I listened to the loud hard rock songs and shook my head with every guitar cry. I used to smoke, pollute the air and cover the open box and laugh.
The world seemed very slow from inside my car, and I was driving so fast that I was earlier my dream sometimes, so when I was young,
Now, after I got out of my car before I owned it
After I gave up that dream and convinced myself that he was trivial and does not deserve all that distance ..
Now, I go back to look for my other dreams, come back through that long dirt road, walk back, walk for years ... I walk forever but never find one of those many dreams that once haunted me ...
I seem to have run over it all with my car American, when I was driving with closed eyes.

كانت لي أحلام كثيرة في طفولتي, لكنّني لم أكن أهتمّ بها
كان هناك حلم واحد يشغلني دائما; وهو امتلاك سيّارة
كنت أغمض عيني في كلّ مرّة, وأتخيّل نفسي على طريق ترابيّة طويلة أسوق سيّارة سوداء من صنع أمريكيّ, وأنا أستمع إلى أغاني الهارد روك الصّاخبة وأحرّك رأسي مع كلّ صرخة قيتار, كنت أدخّن وألوّث الهواء وألوّح للفراغ من الشّبّاك المفتوح وأضحك.
كان العالم يبدو بطيئا جدّا من داخل سيّارتي, وأنا كنت أقود بسرعة جنونيّة حتّى أنّني كنت أسبق حلمي أحيانا, كان ذلك عندما كنت صغيرا,,
أمّا الآن, بعد أن ترجّلت عن سيّارتي قبل أن أمتلكها
أي بعد أن تخلّيت عن ذلك الحلم وأقنعت نفسي بأنّه كان تافها ولا يستحقّ كلّ تلك المسافة..
الآن, أعود أدراجي كي أبحث عن أحلامي الأخرى, أعود عبر تلك الطّريق التّرابيّة الطّويلة, أعود مشيا على الأقدام, أمشي منذ أعوام... أمشي إلى ما لانهاية لكنّني لا أعثر على حلم واحد من تلك الأحلام الكثيرة التي كانت تلاحقني فيما مضى...
يبدو أنّني قد دهستها كلّها بسيّارتي
