Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur Issue #28 - New Marvel Character Reveal - 1st Appearance of Omnipotentis

As an avid fan of MGDD I would be biased in stating that this comic book is fantastic. Writers Brandon Montclare, Artist Natacha Bustos and Colorist Tamra Bonvillian continue to spin a wonderful all ages book that continues to thrive regardless of all the changes that Marvel is currently going through with another re-boot. . Despite low sales the comic book has a small cult following that range from adolescent to adult. I have a feeling that the small fanbase is about to expand as publishers like Junior Scholastic and Schools/ Libraries have begun adding the trade paperback to their catalog in response to rising request. The comics entry into academic circles should be of no surprise as child prodigy Lunella Lafayette is the Smartest person in the Marvel Universe!! Yes. This is Facts. Do the research for yourself. A 9 year old African-American Inhuman female from the Lower East Side NYC is the SMARTEST person in the Marvel Universe. Plus she has a pet T Rex named Devil Dinosaur to boot! With the announcement of an upcoming animated series, Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur is set up to becoming a household name. Hopefully more people will buy the single issues going forward so that they won't be lost once she becomes a main compenent of the Marvel Universe.

Currently Moon Girl is without Devil Dinosaur and has formed a bootleg version of the Fantastic 4, called the Fantastic 3. The team is comprised of Moon Girl Thing and Human Torch. In the process of trying to find a fourth member the are confronted by the new and improved Gold colored Galactus and his herald Silver Surfer who warn them that a Skree attack is about to open a portal allowing OMNIPOTENTIS into our universe. Galactus being the former Destroyer of Worlds has come to warn them that she was his former master and that he is her Herald. This makes her The Destroyer of Universes! So without further ado, Marvel Comics Presents.....OMNIPOTENTIS

Some have stated that she looks like a more intimidating larger version of Midnight Proxima.. Thoughts?

Either way, the issue is selling out fast and may go to a second printing. I think it is going to be considered a KEY issue and a long term hold with potential to grow as MoonGirl's popularity grows further down the line. Don't say I didn't warn you PEACE
