I am one of the few people who feel sorry for the spiders. Hated by many, these creatures are so interesting and hard working. Weaving delicate webs all over the place is not something to ignore. But, we keep destroying their work...

Indeed, some spots are not so well chosen and it's a matter of time until these webs are being swept away. But what about those nets used to catch rain drops? I know... this is not their purpose but I like to believe that spiders are sensitive to nature's beauty. 🙂
Check out what I found among the white fir's branches. A treasure! A sparkly treasure!

And... something for those still fearing the spider webs: the silk from which these nets are being produced is very rich in vitamin K. So, if you have an open wound or cut and you are bleeding, use spider webs to cover the painful spot. It should help in clotting the blood.
