How awful!! Unfortunately this seems to be the norm where CPS hires the worst possible people for the job.
As you learned the hard way -- DO NOT GO TO THEM FOR HELP!
They will destroy your family rather than help them.
I am so sorry that your family and children had to go through this.
I know!
I always thought it was a great organisation, I even wanted to work there when I was in college..
But now that we've seen what they do to families, I'll never ever send a family who needs help to CPS again, as a social worker!!
