On Saturday, I was going out of Suntec City and the noise…. I looked up and the Singapore flag was flying pass. I thought “National Day Parade” rehearsal. Yes, I was right. It was flying towards the Floating Platform where the parade will be held this year. 😎

No, cannot see the floating platform in the picture. So, that's the Marina Bay Sands.

It's time for fireworks here, too for our Independence Day celebrations. A fun summer holiday for us, with picnics and parades in every small town. Cool photo, and challenge!

Fireworks would be lovely to see :D Our flag day was last May. I don't remember if there were fireworks but I am pretty sure there were none. Is flag day a national holiday, too?

There's no flag day. This is part of the rehearsal for the parade of National Day which is our independence day.
