Montana De Oro Beach

Montaña de Oro is a state park in California, United States.
The park is located six miles southwest of Morro Bay and 2 miles south of Los Osos. The name "Mountain of Gold" comes from the golden wildflowers found in the park.

This day-use area is called Spooners Cove. There are restrooms and picnic tables at the parking lot. It is such a nice beach nearest the parking area.

This is a wonderful hidden Jem in its own little cove, with wonderful rocky sand with many many shells and wonderful things to find in the mix.
