Sleepy Pelicans.
These two pelicans were attempting to have an afternoon snooze but the place they chose to snore off, was at a very popular lake and there were many interruptions.
Other wildlife flew past or swam nearby, not caring that these pelicans were tired and kids squealed with delight as they played in the park nearby.
Eventually, the noise will die down and this handsome pair will be able to catch up on their beauty sleep once again. I love the way pelicans can tuck their enormous beaks into their feathers and hide them from sight when sleeping.

The photo looks really cool in B and W. The pelican's eye really stands out, it looks as though they are staring right at you.
