MONOMAD PHOTOGRAPHIC CHALLENGE - Thursday Animal Entry for 03-08-2018

My entry for today in Monomad's animal Thursday theme is the most common bird to be found but also the most often misidentified. This is the common House Sparrow but many people mistakenly refer to it as a House Finch. The house finch looks a lot like the house sparrow in both size and shape but the finch has a pinkish red tint to house finch's plumage while the house sparrow is always shades of grey and brown.
