Kyoto street series #14 - Sanjusangendo, the temple of the 1001 Buddhas.

I've taken this photo at the one of the most extraordinary temples I've visited so far. Unfortunately, it's not permitted to take photos of the fabulous 1001 golden statues of the Buddhas in exhibition inside. They are standing and are huge. I've bought the catalog so I can enjoy seeing this magistral work of art.

Outside, the girls dressed with the traditional outfit were taking selfies. I've taken dozens of photos while they were distracted making... 1001 poses!

Settings: Canon 5D MkIII and Sigma 24-70mm f/2.8 IF EX DG HSM Lens. Edited with Lightroom. Shutter speed 1/125 at f/9.0, 70mm, ISO 125.

Nice street shots.
One funny but very curious question, when taking pictures of strangers, do you walk up to them and say you keep their pictures in your gallery. I'm pretty sure they would love to know.. coz I won't be able to do tat most of the times
