Before i start talking about how can you promote your channel to make a lot of money, I'm going to talk about how Youtube pays money to creators, because it might be unclear to several people.

How does Youtube pay it's creators?

Youtube pays it's creators by displaying ads on the creators' videos, called "Monetization".
The CPM ( Cost Per Mile ) depends on where are your audience from, In average countries, The creator will have a CPM of 1-1.5$. in "Premium" countries, It can go up to 8$ CPM.

It depends on how long is the video as well. If the video is longer than 10 minutes, the creator can put as many rollout ads (Video ads) as he wants. Which makes the creator earn much more.

The creator needs to connect his/her Google Adsense ( you can connect it here - https://www.youtube.com/account_monetization?action_adsense_connection=1 )

Creators nowadays have a lot of problem with monetization, because Youtube disables monetization for videos without any reason, because something really big that happened with Youtube advertisers in 2017. + Creators can monetize their content only after they reach 10,000 total channel views. ( I might do a whole post about it if you'll want ).

How to promote your Youtube Channel to A LOT of people :

You went through everything, You opened a channel, You thought about the niche, You have a nice trend you want to use. How do you get to people? It's easy but it costs an investment, Nothing is free. But trust me, It will worth it.

Let's say you opened a channel about a trending game, PUBG for example, You can make a Gleam Giveaway ( Gleam is a really smart giveaway system, and it's free - Gleam.io ) for 50$ worth of crates from the game. People who play the game will not think twice and join it, and one of the things that's good with Gleam is, You can give them tasks in order to join the giveaway. For example - Subscribe to a channel.

You have chosen a trend, which means - You did a research about it, so you know who are the Yotubers who upload on that niche. which means you know who to talk to.
