Don't Use Their Money

As I sit down to write this I am very aware that although I originally intended this to be about US currency, it really is applicable to all Government owned or sponsored currency.
When most governments form, they originally do so (in most cases) with the consent of the governed. As time progresses and governments grow it becomes difficult to keep a watch on those in power. In the case of the United States of America, a free press was originally intended to be the watch-dog of government. But, the press has failed in this regard.
Without a way of watching government and by not keeping it from growing out of control we no longer have a government that has power from the consent of the governed; now we the governed need the consent of the government .
By controlling the money that we use, they can control us to a degree. Mainly though by using their money we allow ourselves to be controlled.
The hope of crypto-currency is that one day we will break free of the need for their money and have a money that it is completely free of any government control. Any regulation or threat of regulation is a threat to the future of crypto and to the future generations.
