RE: The Millionaire Who Retired 37 Years Old: Buying A Home Is The Worst Investment I Have Made.
Don't treat your first house like an investment. It is a home. A roof over your head. It's fluctuating value is only relevant at the time of purchase. The stock market has hit incredible values versus PE ratios at the moment so I would be reluctant to invest there. Meanwhile gold mining stocks are almost as low as they've ever been 'v' the gold / gold stock ratio.
