Your Secret Bank Account

There has been quite a few channels popping up on youtube about what people are calling TDA's or Treasury Direct Accounts. The theory goes that your social security number is actually a bank account number and the letter on the back of your card corresponds to a specific federal reserve bank in which your account is located. As the story goes, when you were born, a trust account was opened in your name and the funds are provided to the federal reserve in the form of a loan in the promise that you will be working one day and start to pay taxes for the majority of your life. Supposedly this is where your social security money is deposited and held for you in trust. I have been hearing stories of people trying to use these accounts to pay off debts with mixed results, and in one instance resulting in an arrest of 2 people. This subject has peaked my interest lately and I figured it might do the same for one of you. I am not saying to attempt any of these methods, but I just thought I would bring it to light and post a few links for you guys to check out. I am also interested in starting dialogue in the comments section about the subject, especially if you have any experience in the subject itself.
