This Financial Literacy Campaign is initiated together with my fellow finance advocates, @jcvertucio and @namranna. This campaign doesn’t rely on Financial Awareness alone for it also includes Cryptocurrency Awareness and Steemit Introduction. Every now and then, we organize meet ups for interested individuals who seek for financial guidance, and we are doing these at no cost.

Few days ago, I posted the official launching of our Financial Literacy Advocacy, and we just made our first ever Financial Literacy campaign. You can see more of it here.

This time, I and @jcvertucio met our fellow young professionals in our field of practice. The original plan was to talk about Steemit since almost all of them are newbies who just created their accounts. However, we decided to incorporate the very basics of Financial Foundation.

@jcvertucio started discussing the importance of Financial Planning Pyramid in building wealth systematically. This could aid young professionals who want to invest but don’t have any idea where to start.

The basic concept of this Financial Planning Pyramid is to start at the bottom of the triangle until you reach the top-most part which is the Wealth Distribution.

Here’s a quick description of every level of this Financial Planning Pyramid:

• Wealth Protection – This is the very foundation before you start growing your money through investments. This will serve as the safety net that will safeguard you from unexpected financial crisis (i.e, job loss, sickness, loss of life).

• Wealth Accumulation – Once you have established your financial foundation, then you can start Saving and Investing. Do not just Save to Save. Save to Invest!

• Wealth Distribution – Assuming you have already accumulated the wealth that you desire, then you can start managing your assets in preparation for anticipated incapacitation during your golden years.

We also talked about the different investment vehicles, Cryptocurrency, and of course, the technicalities of Steemit. Personally, I’ve also learned a lot from this meet up by exchanging thoughts and tips with regards to our financial wellness.

We conducted the said meet up at the Coffee Prince Cafe here in Cebu (Near Capitol Site), Philippines.
