The answer is simple; cap how much they can earn per year. If these people are only allowed to earn $1 million a year then they are forced to put anything else they would normally 'earn' into other things. CEO's can put it back into their businesses to help raise the wages of their employees to something livable, improve their stores and/or products, and give employees proper training instead of the commonplace a few days of training before being left to the job regardless of if they are ready or not. That money can be donated to charitable causes or even put back into our government to help those who are disabled or otherwise unable to work, or donated to charity organizations that can help communities as a whole.

These people earn so much that they will never, ever be able to spend it all and honestly that should not be allowed. $1 million is more than sustainable for a year of work, it will pay for a decent home and enough to live comfortably. When there are people who are homeless, children starving because their parents can't afford food for them, and people literally dying because they cannot afford medications like insulin or other medical treatment something is very wrong, and regardless of how they made that money (earned, inherited or otherwise) it is the responsibility of the rich to help the poor. It's capitalist propaganda to say that's not the case, and that humans didn't do so in the past without consequence - how many stories do we have of royalty being overthrown by their peasants because of situations like this?

They will complain and do everything to resist it, but the best thing we can do is say that no one, no matter the circumstances, can earn over $1 million a year and force them to put excess money into other human beings who do not have the same wealth. Only then will wealth be more balanced across the board.
