Second Life : Part 1- A Virtual Word Where You Can Live , Love And Earn Real Money (Re- Posted)
Second Life
Hey guys today I will talk about an interesting world known as Second Life which is an online virtual world, developed by Linden Lab, based in San-Francisco, and launched in 2003.Second Life had approximately 1 million regular users. Many people would call second life a game but let me clear it's not a game, it's an virtual world where you can interact with real peoples and every in game objects. You can also work in game and earn money which i will explain later in this post. Some peoples have earned even millions from it.
First Impression
When you first create your account for this game then secondlife will provide you a download link for sl client which is just a browser for accessing and interacting with secondlife virtual world. During signup you will be asked to create an avatar but you can customize your avatar anytime later if you want. After installing the client you have to just sign in with your newly created account and you will instantly enter into this virtual world. At first you might find difficulty in understanding and interacting with in game virtual objects but i am sure you will learn enough in 2 or 3 days.
Economy
Secondlife economy is based upon a in game virtual currency known as Linden Dollars. You can trade this currency for actual dollars and this is the way in which you can earn by working in game to earn lindens and cashing it out. Normally 1 dollar is equal to 250 linden dollars. You can deposit or withdraw lindens anytime you want by trading it with real currency. Using of Paypal is highly recommended for transactions.
Land ownership
Premium membership allows the Resident to own land, with the first 512 m² (of main land owned by a holder of a Premium account) free of the usual monthly land use fee (referred to by residents as tier, because it is charged in tiers). There is no upper limit on tier; at the highest level, the user pays US$295 for their first 65,536 m². Any land must first be purchased from either Linden Lab or a private seller. There are four types of land regions; mainland, private region, homestead, and openspace. A region comprises an area of 65,536 m2 (16.194 acres) in area, being 256 meters on each side. Mainland regions form one continuous land mass, while private regions are islands. Openspace regions may be either mainland or private, but have lower prim limits and traffic use levels than mainland regions. The owners of a private region enjoy access to some additional controls that are not available to mainland owners; for example, they have a greater ability to alter the shape of the land. Residents must own a region (either mainland or private) to qualify for purchasing an openspace region. Residents can purchase and even rent their land for various purposes or can become a broker. However Linden Lab acknowledges only the landlord as the owner of the land, and will not intervene in disputes between Residents.

I use to play this game its very expensive unless you can design, there are some stories of people earning money but not many they also use to have exchanges that could be in the league of the crypto scams as well on the whole it costs more than you can earn and every angle to mke any form of money has been done, the money used in game is the linden and there wont be any way to introduce any other form of currency.
i started in second life about a year ago, i'm a musician and perform live inworld. they do have the Linden currency, which was kind of a precursor to the cryptocurrency's out now. it can be a lot of work with a lot of learning curves but it's fun. if you can imagine it in real life, it's already been done in second life.
