I won't lie, I have had a tough career on Fiverr. Long story short- I registered on Fiverr as a noob, didn't know anything about it. Created many gigs, experimented with various techniques, Did all this for a month and didn't earn even a penny. So I left it. Later after a year, I started it again, this time after doing all the research. I made $4,562 in 2 months. Got little cocky about it, got overconfident. Got banned on Fiverr. Cried for a couple of months started it all over again. Earned exactly $5,671 which also made me level 2 seller (which is kind of a big deal). Again got careless, started goofing around, and Fiverr banned me. Again cried for a couple of months and started all over. And now I am still trying to get my rankings up.

So yeah after so much of starting over, I know exactly what to do as a beginner, to make it to the top. In this post, I will be sharing my exact strategy and if you follow every step and give your 100%, I can tell you that you'll be on top soon.

By the way Fiverr is an online marketplace in which one can buy and sell any online services.

Step 1

Register at Fiverr. Because you cannot do anything without registration right?

• Set a proper Username.
• Set your own pic as your profile picture.
• Write a bio describing you and your service
• Add tags that are related to the services you are planning to provide.

Step 2

• Create a Gig
  Create a service (Gig) that you gonna provide. This service could be anything, photo editing, article writing, social media marketing. Anything that you know.
  If you don't know anything no problem. Create a simple article writing gig. When you get an order, search the topic on Google, read a couple of articles on that topic and write it in your own words. I know its a little hard work, but you have to start somewhere right?
• Write a convincing description about the gig.
• Publish it.
  Bam! You are done.

Step 2 and a Half

So this step does need a little investment. No one is gonna trust a New seller who has no reviews. So you will have to do is, ask your friends to help you out by ordering from your gig. If you don't have friends, then go ahead and create a new account, and place an order on your own gig from that new account. And give write a good review. Don't overdo while writing the review okay. Fiverr does take 20% of all the transactions you make on Fiverr so you will get back $4. But you get a good 5-star review for $1 and this $1 will surely motivate others to place an order on your gig.

Step 3

Now about the GIG, don't provide what other people are providing. Provide waaay too much than other sellers. If you have an article writing gig, other new sellers are providing around 2 articles of 500 words for $5. You go ahead provide 3-4 articles for $5.

Case study: Whenever I start a new account, I usually choose to provide articles because a lot of people need articles. I didn't have anything to invest on Fiverr, so I made a gig providing 5 articles of 500 Words each for $5. People started contacting me, placing bulk orders. I was so booked with those order that I had to pause that gig for a while.
I tried to write the best articles so that I could get good reviews.

Most Important Tips:

• After you have created your 1st GIG, don't expect that orders will start rolling on within 1 hour. It usually takes around 10 days.
• Stay online every day for 1-2 hours, scroll through various gigs. Let Fiverr system believe that you aren't goofing around here. You are serious about this.
• After 10 days, your gig will start getting listed on search results.
• Make sure you Open Buyers' Request tab every day and if there is some request for articles, send your offer.

Follow all these steps and I am sure you will start getting Orders.

If you wanna get big on Fiverr, look for money, run for 5-star reviews. If someone has any problem with your service and you think he will give you a bad review, refund his money. REVIEWS are the MOST important thing about Fiverr. 1 bad review can badly affect your rankings.

Step 4

As the number of reviews increase, reduce the number of articles per order. And start adding more gigs.
If you don't know any gig, learn them on youtube. Invest your time in learning, in gaining knowledge. For a starter, learn SEO, Photoshop, digital marketing. These skills are the one that will earn you real money.
