7 ways to make 💰money💰 on STEEMIT

Steemit is an amazing platform to read on some quality posts, meet new people and also win some money in the process. Today I take a look at the best ways to earn money on steemit.

❂ Writing

Are you great at writing poems? Share it on steem and see it go viral. Are you talented with a brush and a canvas? Share it on steem and let us marvel at your creation. You love programming? Teach us! You get the idea. Nowadays, any topic and any post could go viral. ❂ Commenting

Another great way to get steem is by writing comments on other people's posts so that it gets upvoted. You see, commentating on other peoples post actually increases the number of posts you made so basically comment = post, but without the hassle.

To be successful and earn steem, your comment must be more than "thanks for the article" or "nice post. upvoted!". These types of comments don't earn anything, pure and simple. Actually take your time to read what you're commenting on and type a long and insightful reply. You can even go for a joke. Keep in mind though: your comment must be relevant in relation to the content that you comment on. Post about programming? Don't write a comment about food. Pretty straightforward, but I've seen a few that do this and it boggles my mind.

A simple method that I use to earn more from my comments is going to the HOT posts and checking those with topics that I could give my insight on, read it and post a comment that is relevant. Try to comment on posts that don't have a ton of replies already unless you really think you can get those juicy upvotes.

❂ Curating

What this means? When you upvote a post or a comment, you increase its payout, its visibility and increase that user's reputation. This is basically what steemit calls curation. When you're new on steemit, this is a harder task as your steem power is small and curating doesn't get you much. I cannot really go more into the subject of curation as it is a vast one. There are also some tools that helps you curate whenever you are away from your computer. The main ones are SteemVoter and Streemian.
SteemVoter is a tool that upvotes posts by people that you chose to add to this auto-voter and Streemian is a tool that helps you follow a curation trail a.k.a upvote whatever a pro curator upvotes (the pro curator is chosen by you).

❂ Joining a contest

There are a lot of contest types going on everyday on steemit. Just go to https://steemit.com/trending/contest and see for yourself. There is a contest for everyone out there. Just make sure to follow their rules or you might get disqualified from some contests.

❂ Upvoting daily free steem giveaways

This is pretty straightforward in the sense that there are people that post requesting you to upvote, and if you upvote that post, after 7 days you will receive an equal share of the payout as the other voters. Usually it's between 0.001-0.015 SBD. It's not that much, but it amounts if you upvote a few of these guys daily.

How does it work
You login at the top with your username (without @) and with your password. It will show how much steem you currently own.
In the Win chance box, type any number you want. Keep in mind the higher the number, the lower the profit in case you win and the lower the number, higher payout but lower chance to win. For example: input 60 and click Roll the dice. A number from 1-100 will be randomized and if it is lower than what you put in the box (in our example: 60), you will win. Beware though, gambling is very addictive.
