You may be wondering why games cost $60 or more, so i have made a step by step infographic where all the money goes step by step.




  • Some high profile developers get much better deals with publishers
  • Some games have larger marketing budgets,but the publisher will always get 60%, or $36, to split between costs and developer

The retail price doesn't bother me too much, the DLC does though. Particularly when they advertise the DLC in loading screens.
